--> FROM THE NEW EDITOR <--

Roby Sherman has done a fabulous job of
setting up the ACES newsletter in disk
form.  But now he has stepped down from
his editorship and I have volunteered
to take over.  With the technical end
of it already done, it will be my job
to pretty much follow the format and
fill up the disk with articles and
items which will be of general
interest.

It was my feeling that enough
"technical stuff" already exists out 
there, and that this newsletter
should be for the rest of us.
Accordingly, I am slanting the 
emphasis on simpler things.  If my
assessment is wrong, I'm sure I'll 
hear about it!

As always, contributions will be more
than welcome, both original and those 
gleaned from other non-copyrighted 
sources. The chapter "How To Submit 
Articles" covers the mechanics of 
getting the articles to me, so 
PLEASE SEND all contributions. With
the help of all our readers, we 
should have a top notch publication.  
The talent surely exists among our
membership, so let's tap it.

A tentative cut-off point of December
15th has been set for the next issue.
If there are any problems in uploading
(or if you don't have a modem) hand
delivery will work fine.  Just call me
at (305) 721-7745 and we'll manage to
expedite delivery of your material.
